AI code review platform Graphite completes $52 million Series B funding, with Anthropic participating in investment

According to TechCrunch, Graphite, an AI code review platform supported by Anthropic, announced the completion of a $52 million Series B funding round led by Accel, with Anthropic's Anthropology Fund, Menlo Ventures, Shopify Ventures, Figma Ventures, Andreessen Horowitz, and The General Partnership participating.
Graphite was founded in 2020 by Tomas Reimers, Greg Foster, and Merrill Lutsky, initially focusing on mobile development tools before shifting towards AI driven code review. Its platform utilizes models from Anthropic and OpenAI to provide code feedback, error detection, and automatically fix code issues. Currently, Graphite serves over 500 companies, including Shopify, Snowflake, Figma, and Perplexity, with revenue growing 20 times by 2024. In addition, Graphite is launching a new product called Diamond, aimed at automatically capturing code errors. After this round of financing, Graphite has raised a total of $81 million, which will be used for product development and team expansion.
