According to official sources, Xunying Travel, a subsidiary of Xunying Group, has successfully completed an RWA (Real World Asset) based on battery swapping physical assets, involving tens of millions of Hong Kong dollars. The project involves the issuance of RWA fund products managed by Hong Kong Victory Securities, with technical support provided by Ant Group, Conflux Network, and VDX. AW3 Family Office participates as an ecosystem partner. It is reported that this is the world's first RWA for battery swapping physical assets. Through asset tokenization, it helps efficiently connect China's green assets with overseas funds, empowering the real industry with digital technology, and providing replicable innovative models for the new energy industry and even the wider real economy.
It is reported that the Hong Kong Monetary Authority (HKMA) launched the Ensemble project sandbox last year to explore use cases for different tokenized assets, with "green and sustainable finance" being one of the main directions. Ant Group, as a participating member of the Ensemble project, carries out RWA innovation practices for various new energy assets such as photovoltaics, charging piles, and energy batteries. This time, Xunying Travel will use battery swapping cabinets and lithium batteries located nationwide as RWA anchor assets. Through the integration of blockchain technology and IoT (Internet of Things) technology, the value, operation, and revenue data of battery swapping projects will be packaged and stored on the blockchain to form digital tokens. This not only revitalizes existing assets and accelerates capital recovery, but also enhances the liquidity and transaction transparency of battery swapping assets.
