Seeing that @ yzilabs has announced a strategic investment in the RWFI platform @ lumenetwork, based on Binance's industry benchmark influence, this investment is naturally interpreted as a precursor to a major outbreak in the RWA track. Is it reasonable?
1) Against the backdrop of the emergence of a US crypto friendly government and the upcoming stablecoin regulatory bill, it will promote deep integration between the crypto industry and traditional financial sectors, and the RWA track is likely to become the first key track to see the dawn of the new trend of integration.
Because it is the core of the large-scale implementation of Crypto exploration utility, once the policies come with practical benefits, it will naturally receive the full industry's resources and efforts. Especially, stablecoins are a key channel connecting fiat and cryptocurrency, and the regulation of stablecoins will directly drive the process of cryptocurrency assets being put on the chain;
2) To accelerate the implementation of RWA, in addition to policy impact, it is also necessary to break down the infrastructure barriers between off chain and on chain. Real asset on chain is not just a simple digital process, but also requires solving a series of issues such as legal compliance, asset ownership, data verification, and transaction execution.
Plume is positioned as the first public blockchain platform for RWAFI, serving as a "two-way bridge" between traditional finance and on chain infrastructure. In addition to being able to integrate modularity with existing on chain DeFi and other infrastructure, its key capability lies in enhancing the ability to integrate off chain data, such as enabling transparent management and scheduling of property ownership certificates and valuation reports through on chain smart contracts.
In my opinion, the essential difference between RWAFi and other public chain level narratives is that once it establishes a moat barrier, it is difficult for newcomers to catch up. After all, the on chain Infra can create wheels repeatedly, but the ability to connect the complex compliance, legal, pricing, and other "non deterministic issues" behind real assets with the pure "deterministic" environment on the chain can only rely on practical operational use cases to accumulate experience.
Following this logic, someday in the future, Plume is expected to become the "value settlement layer" in the RWAFi field and a key "module layer" on the real asset integration chain.
