According to a report by Golden Finance, according to Yonhap News Agency, Kim Seok hwan, a representative of Wemix Foundation, a blockchain company under Wemade, admitted at an emergency meeting that he lost approximately 8.65 million WEMIX tokens (worth approximately 6.22 million US dollars) due to a hacker attack.
Hackers attacked the Play Bridge Vault system on February 28th by stealing the authentication key of NFT platform "Nile". Jin Xihuan explained that the delay in notification was due to concerns about triggering more attacks and market panic, emphasizing that "there was absolutely no thought or attempt to cover up the event".
