Cryptocurrency platform Debiex has been ordered by a US court to pay approximately $2.5 million for failing to respond to allegations from the US Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC). The judge ruled that he must return $2.26 million in stolen funds and pay a civil fine of $221500. Previously, the CFTC sued Debiex in January 2024, alleging that its employees established false romantic relationships through social media, induced victims to invest, and ultimately stole funds. The court found that Debiex did not respond to the lawsuit and had no reasonable explanation. (Cointelegraph) https://www. (wublock123.com)/index.php? m=content&c=index&a=show&catid=6&id=39557
