🚨 The ZKsync Ignite program will be discontinued after its first season. The DeFi Steering Committee (DSC) has announced that rewards will cease on March 17, 2025. This decision reflects a strategic shift towards focusing resources on the Elastic Network, essential for ZKsync's long-term vision. While Ignite successfully increased total value locked (TVL) in DeFi, the need for seamless native interoperability is a priority, and the required technology is taking longer to develop. Given the current bearish market conditions, ZKsync is adopting a more conservative spending approach. All remaining rewards will be distributed by the announced date, and service provider contracts will conclude by March 30, 2025.
