North Korean hackers used mixed currency funds to purchase 437.6 billion PEPEs worth $3.1 million on March 11th

Odaily Planet Daily reported that according to blockchain detective ZachXBT's personal channel, a highly credible Tornado Cash asset theft investigation showed that on March 11, 2025, after using Tornado Cash to complete coin mixing, North Korean hackers used some ETH funds to purchase 437.6 billion PEPEs worth $3.1 million. A more detailed analysis shows that North Korean hackers encountered asset theft using the problematic Tornado Cash user interface.
Previously, according to Lookonchain monitoring, three wallets purchased a large amount of 689.79B PEPEs (with a total value of approximately 4.3 million US dollars), all of which were funded by Tornado Cash.
