According to a statement from the relevant office, the proposal, known as the "transition" plan, was put forward by US Middle East envoy Vitkov and National Security Council official Eric Trager on Wednesday. The statement further elaborated that this proposal has been conveyed to Hamas through Qatar and Egypt's partners.
