According to a survey conducted by CNN and SSRS, more than half of Americans now hold a negative view of Musk. The CEO of Tesla and SpaceX has experienced a significant decline in popularity since joining Trump's government efficiency team. About 53% of Americans said they had a "negative view" of Musk. In contrast, 35% of people hold a positive view and 11% have not expressed any opinions. About 60% of Americans said that Musk had neither the right experience nor the right judgment to change the way the government worked. Even some supporters of Trump are uneasy about Musk: 28% of those who believe Trump needs to reform the government doubt whether Musk has the judgment to implement these reforms.
