Probably the beginning of the end for @WeekInEthNews was when I heard that Farcaster founders took $40m of that money directly into their own pockets (raising at unicorn valuation) They probably had less real users than WiE, for what is mostly a web2 app but with a token someday But @VitalikButerin was pumping Fartcaster hard, so it was valuable and the big crypto funds dumped money on it Meanwhile WiE got zero support from EF or Vitalik. Maybe even negative support When the market speaks, at some point you gotta listen
