According to CoinFest, according to Glassnode data, Bitcoin's four-year compound annual growth rate (CAGR) has dropped to its lowest level on record, at 8%. The four-year time period was chosen to align with Bitcoin's halving cycle, while also covering typical bull/bear cycles that often follow similar time frames. Four years ago in March 2021, the trading price of Bitcoin was around $60000, approaching the peak of the previous market cycle. As Bitcoin assets mature, their volatility and return rate will decrease over time, so it is expected that the compound annual growth rate will decrease. However, this indicator is highly dependent on the reference point. In 2021, Bitcoin experienced a period of skyrocketing to the top at the beginning of the cycle, and by March 2025, $80000 may mark the arrival of the bottom of the cycle. The ratio of ETH/BTC has currently entered the negative negative compound annual growth rate region, at 6%, reflecting Ethereum's poor performance relative to Bitcoin. This decline is mainly due to the fact that the price of Ethereum has remained relatively stable since February 2021, currently below $2000. At present, the ETH/BTC ratio is 0.024, the lowest level since the end of 2020.
