Sony and LINE reach blockchain cooperation agreement

On March 12th, according to CoinDesk, Sony's blockchain division is introducing Japanese social media giant LINE into the Web3 space and plans to adapt multiple popular mini programs to Sony's Soneium network. LINE has approximately 200 million active users on its platform, and according to the agreement, four LINE based games or "mini programs" will be integrated with Soneium, namely Sleepagotchi, Farm Frens, Puffy Match, and Pocket Mob. This integration aims to achieve in-game rewards and purchasing functions. Soneium is primarily managed by Sony Block Solutions Labs (SBSL), a project jointly established by Sony and Singapore's Startale Labs.
