So while some moronic DeFi projects still refuse to donate without KYC (they probably prefer donating to fake KYCed DPRK IT workers instead at this stage), some new features have dropped for my safe-tx-hashes-util script today (I simply do this because I fucking care about our industry):
- A new check to detect potential gas token attacks (see, e.g. https://medium.com/@flackoon/your-safe-wallet-guard-might-not-be-enough-523f28924922)
- A new CLI feature to calculate hashes offline using an `--interactive` mode. When using `--interactive` mode, a user will be prompted to provide values for various parameters such as `version`, `to`, `value`, and others. If the user leaves any parameter empty, the default value displayed in the terminal will be used. These defaults are either retrieved from the Safe transaction service API or, in case of failure, fall back to zero values. This allows a user to customise the parameters or proceed with the API-sourced defaults.
Please pull the latest main commit to use these features.
Furthermore, I added a small section on the security best practices for using this script. READ THEM!
A big s/o to @fredriksvantes for laying the groundwork for both features.
