Republicans uniting behind funding a "continuing resolution" that continues until September massive inflationary spending set by the Biden regime. The theory is @DOGE and @RealDonaldTrump can curtail the worst of the spending and related policies. I am skeptical as continued massive funding of Biden agenda items will make it harder legally for DOGE to cut federal government staff and other waste, fraud and abuse. It is now two months after Republicans took over Congress and they have yet to cut one dollar in spending and will instead this week vote to continue Biden inflationary spending with no policy wins in exchange. The alternative is a partial government shut down which not many politicians in DC want, though I suspect many Americans wouldn't mind seeing.
