Donald Trump is obviously not a Bitcoiner. It’s hilarious watching maxis pretend otherwise. He’s been a loud, consistent critic of BTC and a staunch supporter of USD fiat. Just look at how scripted and short all his speeches are, even at the Bitcoin conference. At today’s crypto summit, he read directly from a script. When it came to Bitcoin, he vaguely said people shouldn’t sell but admitted, “who the hell knows” if that’s right, since the “do not sell” line was clearly fed to him and he knows will age terribly. Everyone should be selling. That said, there’s some genius to it. He needed the crypto vote and secured it effortlessly without making any real commitments. The BTC reserve hype is completely overblown—and happened exactly as I predicted, the fine print makes it clear they won’t be buying, just holding seized assets, which has always been the case. Nothing changed. This is just another failed narrative. And with the ETF hype collapsing as record outflows pile up, it’s obvious this bubble is about to implode and take everyone down with it.
