There still seems to be a lot of confusion about what leverage is, what it means and how it should be used.
The question: "What leverage do you use" is irrelevant.
Leverage is used to limit your counter party risk. It helps you take larger positions while having minimal collateral/margin on the exchange you're trading at.
It should NOT be used to increase position size to sizes which you wouldn't otherwise be taking if you'd be trading spot only for example.
Your position size and stop loss determines the risk you take every trade. So whether you take a 100 position with 10 margin and 10x leverage or a 100 position with 1$ margin and 100x leverage is perfectly the same.
Just make sure you measure out your risk and stop loss in advance.
