According to a report by Jin Shi, US President Trump stated on March 6th local time that if a deal is not reached by April 5th, he is "likely" to extend the sale period of the social video app TikTok. Trump said, "Many people are interested in TikTok," and "we still have at least a month left, so we don't need to postpone. Meanwhile, Trump expressed his willingness to extend the deadline if necessary. In January of this year, after being elected as the President of the United States, Trump signed an executive order requiring the "ban if not sold" law on the short video social media platform TikTok to be temporarily suspended for the next 75 days. This also means that the enforcement deadline for TikTok's "ban if not sold" law has been postponed to April 5th.
