Last night’s media appreciation event was an opportunity to recognize the important work of our media professionals. A strong media is essential to democracy, providing transparency, accountability, and an informed public. They are invaluable to national development, and we appreciate their commitment to keeping the country informed. It was a very good night for me to see and interact with everyone in a relaxed environment and I believe we all had a good time.
