Russian Ministry of Finance and Central Bank Discuss Launching Digital Currency Transactions

According to TASS, Alexei Yakovlev, Director of the Financial Policy Department of the Ministry of Finance of the Russian Federation, told reporters that the Ministry of Finance and the Russian Central Bank are discussing the launch of organized digital currency transactions within the framework of an experimental legal system (EPR) in Russia. Participants in the 'super qualified' investor category (currently developing standards) will be able to participate in the auction. The Ministry of Finance hopes that the corresponding ideas can be implemented in the near future.
