BlockBeats News: On March 4th, according to BusinessInsider, Amazon is developing an artificial intelligence model with advanced reasoning capabilities and plans to launch it under the Nova brand before June this year. This model adopts a "mixed reasoning" approach, providing both fast answers and more complex extended thinking capabilities in a single system.
According to insiders, Amazon's main goal is to make its Nova inference model more cost-effective than its competitors, including OpenAI's o1, Anthropic's Claude 3.7 Sonnet, and Google's Gemini 2.0 Flash Thinking. Another goal is to rank this upcoming inference model among the top five in external benchmark tests that primarily evaluate software development and mathematical skills such as SWE, Berkeley Function Calling Leaderboard, and AIME. The project is led by the Amazon AGI team and led by Chief Scientist Rohit Prasad.
