Odaily Planet Daily News: After President Trump announced the establishment of a cryptocurrency reserve plan in the United States, many cryptocurrency industry executives support Bitcoin as the only reserve asset, believing that Bitcoin is the only digital asset that meets this purpose. Coinbase CEO Brian Armstrong stated that Bitcoin is the best choice because it has a clear story as a potential "gold heir," and renowned cryptographer Adam Back agrees with this view. Gemini co-founder Cameron Winklevoss also believes that Bitcoin is the only digital currency that meets the reserve asset standard, and suggests that Ethereum may also meet the standard. However, he does not agree to include other cryptocurrencies such as XRP, ADA, and SOL in reserve assets, as he believes they are not suitable for strategic reserves. Cameron's twin brother Tyler Winklevoss also expressed the same view, emphasizing that reserve assets must be a proven store of value. Although some executives support the establishment of diversified cryptocurrency reserves, there are still many who insist that Bitcoin should be the sole focus. (IBTIMES)
