Gm, Since its inception, OXFUN has grown from an ambitious idea into a thriving ecosystem, navigating both highs and lows along the way. Over the past year, I’ve taken a background role, providing input and contributing to the vision under the current leadership, as and when needed. The team has done an incredible job getting OXFUN to this point, and as we step into the next phase of growth, it’s clear that strong, decisive leadership is necessary to push things forward. With that in mind, I’ll be stepping in to officially lead OXFUN, bringing clearer strategic direction and execution. Looking back, there were moments where challenges could have been handled more effectively with stronger oversight. My increased involvement will ensure we are better positioned to navigate obstacles and capitalize on opportunities moving forward. As part of this transition and restructure: 1. Nico will continue to take on a leadership role alongside me as Head of Partnerships. He’s played a key role in OXFUN’s growth, and his expertise will be invaluable as we push ahead. 2. We’re expanding the team. Talent is everything, and we’re actively looking for individuals who align with OXFUN’s mission and bring fresh energy to help scale operations. Importantly, no employees have been affected or let go as part of this restructuring. 3. OXFUN badging on X will be reassessed. These badges have never signified employment at OXFUN, nor were they handed out in exchange for payment. Admittedly, they were distributed too loosely in the past. Going forward, we’ll be more selective, ensuring they align with OXFUN’s values and vision. http://OX.FUN is built around a simple but powerful vision: 1. A single platform where users can use altcoins and memecoins as collateral to trade perps across multiple venues, including Hyperliquid, with access to hundreds of assets. 2. Seamless deposits from dozens of chains, with frictionless cross-chain swaps powered by DeBridge. 3. A smooth, mobile-first experience with dedicated iOS and Google Play apps. The goal is to make trading faster, easier, and more accessible, removing friction and unlocking new possibilities for on-chain traders. I guess you're all wondering, "Why do you keep coming back to crypto?" I love crypto and after spending a decade at 3AC mainly investing and trading crypto, being able to build products in the space as a founder feels like a novel experience and a privilege. I’ve been increasingly inspired by products like Hyperliquid, PumpFun, and DeBridge that focus on user experience and community, something that was never a main focus in my previous endeavors. I’ve also been very inspired by the continued success of Deribit, an exchange we invested in very early in the crypto options space. I think there’s a lot more that can be done around automated and discretionary strategies. My focus now is on building upon the strong foundation they’ve created in new and interesting way that I will dive into in the coming days. We’ll be rolling out a roadmap that lays out our next steps, priorities, and what’s ahead for the ecosystem. Excited for what’s next. The best is yet to come. - Su
