Even if the only thing you care about are your bags (you selfish twat), then remember this:
-This behavior erodes trust in US geopolitical policy.
-It will shift allies to buy military supplies from Europe.
-It will shift allies to prioritizing non-US energy supply lines.
-It will cause nations to prioritize non-US trade agreements.
-It will lose the US preferential pricing on minerals and energy supplies from the nations that currently offer it.
-It will make buyers question the reliability of investing in the US.
-It is already causing major shifts in consumer buying (Canadian grocery chains are already seeing a 63% increase in consumers buying Canadian/EU food brands over US ones)
The economic impact of the US not being a reliable counter-party is *MASSIVE*
Many people tried to sell you on this idea that Trump's policies came at "a cost" but would be "so good for the economy" that it was worth it.
But, just like every other Trump enterprise in history, you've paid the price tag, and got a shitty low quality good with his name stamped on it.
