According to Arkham data, as of February 28th, wallets marked as Lazarus Group have transferred over $240 million in ETH through THORChain. These funds are mainly exchanged for native BTC. In addition, THORChain's chief developer @ Pluto9r announced his resignation (after serving for 4 years). TCB (@ 1984_is_today), the core verifier of the THORChain network, revealed that most of THORChain's activities come from the largest financial theft in human history, money laundering activities by North Korean hackers, which will become a national security issue. BlockBeats previously reported that THORChain is currently facing the dilemma of insolvency, and its savings and loan functions have been suspended. It plans to address the $200 million debt crisis by issuing equity tokens.
