A certain whale hoarded 4000 BTC after Bitcoin fell below $90000

On February 27th, community members reported that the whale had accumulated 4000 bitcoins (BTC) while the Bitcoin price was hovering between $82000 and $85000, with a position value of approximately $344 million based on current Bitcoin prices. Crypto analyst Saint Pump confirmed that this whale is Spoofy, considered one of the largest traders in the cryptocurrency industry by volume. Spoofy has a history of influencing the Bitcoin market. In 2017, this trader was accused of participating in illegal market manipulation, taking large orders and intentionally canceling them before execution - a behavior known as' fraudulent orders'. Recently, Spoofy established a position of 24000 BTC during 2024 and subsequently sold it when the price soared to $70000 to $108000 due to the rise in Bitcoin prices driven by former US President Donald Trump's pro cryptocurrency stance at the time.
