According to Decrypt, the Russian hacker group "Crazy Evil" disguised itself as Web3 company "ChainSeeker io" and deceived job seekers' encrypted wallets through false recruitment. The gang posted job advertisements such as "Blockchain Analyst" on platforms such as LinkedIn, X, and CryptoJobsList, inducing applicants to download the malicious video conferencing software GrassCall. The software contains malicious programs for information theft and remote trojans (RATs) that can steal wallets, passwords, and browser data. Bleeping Computer pointed out that the activity has now stopped and many advertisements have been removed. According to the Recorded Future report, Crazy Evil has carried out over 10 similar attacks through social media since 2021, with a cumulative revenue of over $5 million, targeting DeFi industry professionals. http://(wublock123.com)/index.php? m=content&c=index&a=show&catid=6&id=38646
