21 staff members of the US Department of Government Efficiency have resigned, stating that they are unwilling to help reduce the size of the government

According to a report by Golden Finance, on February 25th local time, 21 staff members resigned from the "Government Efficiency Department" led by Elon Musk, stating that they refused to use their technical expertise to "dismantle critical public services". It is reported that these staff members stated in a joint resignation letter that many of the people recruited by Musk to help him reduce the size of the federal government are "political dreamers" and do not have the skills or experience required to complete the job tasks.
