Waste management expert: The man who lost $669 million worth of Bitcoin has a 1 in 902 million chance of recovering his hard drive

According to The Block, IT engineer James Howells from Newport, South Wales, believes that his ex partner mistakenly threw away his hard drive containing Bitcoin and has taken legal action, attempting to enter a local landfill or demanding compensation of £ 495 million ($609 million) from the Newport city government.
Mark Hall, a waste management expert at Business Waste, stated that the likelihood of finding a lost hard drive in a landfill is only 0. 00000 11%. Hall also stated that the possibility of recovering Bitcoin itself is basically zero. The hard drive has been exposed to wind, rain, leachate, and high temperatures, and is still being squeezed - we highly doubt whether it can be retrieved, so we estimate a 0% chance of retrieval
