BTC 200 Week Moving Average Heatmap is based on the percentage increases of the Weekly 200MA. If it's increasing a lot, due to explosive price action towards the upside, you'll see warmer colors. These colors are generally also close to a top while the colder colors are generally seen during the bottom & mid cycles. Good to note that price action will generally be slower over time as BTC has grown and the market matured.
