Ye's upcoming coin launch again highlights that NFTs are becoming increasingly less valuable than MEMEs. During the 2020-2021 period, the rise of NFTs led to the emergence of many creator and fan economy projects. However, in this bull market cycle, when everyone can issue coins at a low cost, what's the use of NFTs? Both NFTs and MEMEs are speculative. When the speculative opportunities of MEMEs outweigh those of NFTs, NFTs will be abandoned. NFTs originally had the potential for mass adoption, linking Web2 and Web3, but apparently, NFT projects failed to seize such an opportunity. MEMEs should learn from this lesson.
