The DOGE fraud and waste hunting team should become a long term thing. This is not something that will go away after 2 years of hunting. The nature of govt is to be wasteful and fraudulent. We need a team that is authorized to go in and fix stuff that has gone wrong. For some reason, the "Office of Inspector General" was supposed to get that done, but never seemed to actually fix anything. They just issue reports and make some tiny noises.
