In their first annual Bitcoin report @epochvc_ estimates global bitcoin ownership to be at 422 to 455 million when ownership by association (spouses) is considered (25% to 35% higher than previous estimates). With Earth's current population of roughly 8.2 billion people, these figures suggest that up to 5.5% of the world population currently owns Bitcoin. While that number may seem low, adoption is rising, and all signs point to it continuing to rise, potentially even at an accelerated rate. It also shows that there is still a huge untapped potential for Bitcoin to grow. If you are asking yourself, am I too late? Here is your answer: We are still early!
