UK police arrest two suspects involved in six figure cryptocurrency fraud case

According to Decrypt, UK police have arrested and charged two men on suspicion of committing cryptocurrency fraud against a 75 year old retired person from Aberdeenshire, causing the victim to lose six figure amounts. It is reported that the case was reported in July 2024. The northeast department of Scottish police, in collaboration with West Midlands police and South Yorkshire police, arrested a 54 year old man in Coventry and a 36 year old man in Mexborough. Both were charged on the same day.
