Odaily Planet Daily reported that two Democratic senators in the United States have demanded that officials from the Department of Efficiency (DOGE) related to Musk leave the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB), stating that their presence has undermined the agency responsible for regulating the billionaire's yet to be established payment business. Senators Elizabeth Warren and Adam Schiff stated that Musk "is not only suppressing consumer protection agencies that regulate the X digital wallet, but he may also gain access to confidential company data that could provide X with an unfair advantage over competitors." Earlier this month, DOGE staff entered the agency, disrupted operations and shut down headquarters, putting the agency temporarily in a dormant state. (Golden Ten)
