Odaily Planet Daily News: Reeve Collins, one of the co founders of Tether, is launching a stablecoin with interest rates. Like some new participants entering the stablecoin field such as Ethena and M ^ 0, Collin's Pi Protocol will provide holders with potential returns through tokenization of RWAs. This is different from the initial batch of stablecoins (such as fiat supported USDT and USDC) and algorithm supported DAI (which only tracks the value of the US dollar). It is reported that the stablecoin protocol is expected to be launched on Ethereum and Solana blockchain in the second half of 2025, and will use smart contracts or computer programs that automate transactions between various parties such as exchanges and market makers to mint its USP stablecoin. As a reward, the minter will receive another type of USI token as income. The stablecoin will be supported by real-world assets such as bonds that generate returns. (Bloomberg)
