Abstract Chain investigates incidents of wallet fund theft among some users, suspected to be related to the Cardex application

According to The Block, Abstract Chain is investigating reports of wallet fund theft from some users, with preliminary suspicion of being related to the blockchain fantasy game Cardex. The Abstract team stated on social platform X that the issue seems to be limited to the Cardex app and not a network wide Abstract Global Wallet (AGW) problem. At present, the team is further investigating and reminding users not to interact with Cardex temporarily. Cardex is a blockchain based fantasy game that was launched on February 11th. Multiple users reported on Abstract's official Discord channel that their funds ranging from a few hundred dollars to over 100000 dollars have been stolen.
