Crypto Special Action Team discusses adding staking functionality to ETP with Jito Labs and Multicoin Capital

According to a memorandum from the US SEC, on February 5, 2025, members of the Crypto Task Force met with representatives from Jito Labs and Multicoin Capital Management. The topic of discussion between both parties is ways to address issues related to cryptocurrency regulation. Representatives from Jito Labs and Multicoin Capital Management provided accompanying documents, which were discussed during the meeting. The accompanying document shows that attendees are expected to discuss two main topics during the meeting: (i) the ability to use staking as a feature of ETP; And potential models for staking in certain encrypted asset ETPs.
