According to the agreement, Potapenko and Turogin have agreed to abandon the digital assets frozen by US authorities in 2022 and assist in ensuring that no users suffer financial losses. HashFlare was closed in 2019, and Potapenko and Turogin were arrested in Estonia in 2022 and extradited to the United States in May 2024.
