Survey: One quarter of South Koreans interviewed have cryptocurrency, most of whom focus on short-term gains

Odaily Planet Daily News A new survey conducted by Hashed Open Research, a subsidiary of Hashed Think Tank, a blockchain accelerator, found that one quarter of the surveyed Koreans own cryptocurrencies, and most of them said they trade cryptocurrencies for short-term profits.
The company conducted a survey of 2000 South Koreans aged between 20 and 69, of whom 25% (507) said they were "currently investing in cryptocurrencies", more than half (54%) of respondents aged 30 to 39 said they had previously held or currently held cryptocurrencies, and 43% of people over 40 said they had traded or are currently trading cryptocurrencies.
The proportion of cryptocurrency traders and investors in other age groups is relatively small. Among the 20-29 age group, 38.8% of people reported buying or selling Bitcoin or altcoins.
