Recently, the veteran Layer1 project @ PersistenceOne in the Cosmos ecosystem has been actively expanding into BTCFi. They have recently established partnerships with top BTC ecosystem projects such as Babylon, Bitlayer, B2 Network, Merlin, Botanix, and BOB. The Persistence team is currently working on DEX for the BTCFi ecosystem, as well as intention based cross chain exchanges, with the aim of making asset flows between BTC's various Layer 2 smoother. The problem with BTCFi now is that the liquidity is too dispersed, and funds do not circulate between different Layer2. The Persistence team is working to solve this problem by connecting the dispersed BTC Layer2. There are relatively few targets that can be played with BTCFi now. Babylon and various BTC Layer2 have not been released yet, and the Persistence token XPRT is basically 100% circulating because it is an old project, and 61.39% has been pledged.
