According to Chainalysis, the Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) of the US Treasury Department, the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO) of the UK, and the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT) of Australia jointly sanctioned Zservers, a Russian company, on February 11, 2025. The "bulletproof hosting" service provided by Zservers provides infrastructure for cybercriminals to support the activities of LockBit ransomware gangs. OFAC has included Zservers and three related cryptocurrency addresses in the Specially Designated Nationals (SDN) list.
