Odaily Planet Daily News: Metaplanet Inc. predicts to achieve profitability in its fourth quarter financial report to be released later on Monday Tokyo time. It is reported that most of the company's retail shareholders purchase shares through the Japanese Personal Savings Account (NISA) program, which the Japanese government will reform in early 2024 to encourage citizens to save and invest for long-term growth and retirement. In Japan, capital gains from directly purchasing Bitcoin are subject to a tax of up to 55%, making investing in stocks such as Metaplanet through NISA a a cheap and convenient option for small-scale and first-time buyers.
