According to a report by Golden Finance, Dave Portnoy, founder of Barstol Sports, has been criticized for sharing Meme coin trading on X platform, with some traders claiming that he "smashed the market" to 3.5 million fans. The "Montoya por favor" and "Josh Allen MVP" tokens he had previously invested in briefly skyrocketed and quickly collapsed, sparking controversy. Faced with criticism, Portnoy announced the purchase of 50 million "JAILSTOOL" tokens and defended itself on the X platform. Portnoy has previously promoted Safemoon, but its founder was sued by the SEC for fraud.
