A few folks asked how this compares to the AggLayer. I read their available docs in the tweet thread. I believe: 1. It seems restricted to EVM chains - AggLayer has projects working to make connections to AggLayer from Cosmos, Solana, and other non-EVM chains. 2. It seems restricted to use cases that fit into the scope of intent frameworks - mainly DeFi. A universal intents framework could be a value add for everyone, but using it as a foundation for an interop protocol may leave out other future use cases that haven't fully taken off yet, like DePIN or more complicated dapps with zk and privacy elements. I anticipate intent frameworks will become more generalizable in the future, but we are very early. 3. With their current timeline, it seems like Q3 of this year is when we will start to see many of the things promised in the thread. This isn't a bad thing and some people affiliated with Polygon have also done similar types of verbage about AggLayer well before the working code was released. It is still a thing to mention because I'm not a fan of overly hyper marketing language without a functional testnet or code repo I can play with. AggLayer v0.2 was recently released which uses pessimistic proofs. I mention this because it highlights the generalizability of our interop solution - any chain (EVM or not), pessimistic proofs for maximal soundness and many use cases.
