According to BlockBeats, on February 5th, David Sacks answered the last question during the press conference questioning session that studying the feasibility of Bitcoin reserves is one of the top priorities instructed by the President and will be conducted as part of an internal government working group. Putting cryptocurrencies into sovereign wealth funds is another question that cannot be answered at this press conference.
BlockBeats previously reported that US President Donald Trump signed an executive order on Monday directing the Treasury and Commerce departments to establish a sovereign wealth fund. Although encryption was not mentioned, Treasury Secretary Scott Besant has expressed some interest in cryptocurrency, while Commerce Secretary nominee Howard Lutnik is a staunch supporter of the cryptocurrency industry.
