According to a report by Golden Finance, Cointelegraph has filed a lawsuit against the YouTuber group Nelk Boys in federal court in California. The plaintiff Trenton Smith accuses Kyle Forgeard, John Shahidi, and their related entertainment companies of failing to fulfill the welfare promises of their Metacard NFT project. It is reported that the benefits provided by Nelk Boys include discounts on their own branded products, participation in activities by rapper Snoop Dogg, and a gift of $250000 to NFT holders. It is reported that the project cast 10000 NFTs in January 2022, each priced at $2300, and sold out within minutes, with a total sales revenue of $23 million.
