New Year's first article: "Yap FAQ and Beginner's Guide Part 1"
I have been experimenting with a small account for a week and have earned dozens of points. I promised everyone to write a guide for beginners, with a new atmosphere for the New Year, so I won't delay the draft. Most of the ones I wrote last night while watching the Spring Festival Gala were in a state of confusion. (Originally set to automatically send messages at 10am, I went out to play, but just arrived home and realized that I hadn't sent them out.)
Many friends say that they cannot participate in the lively Yap activities of KOLs on @ _kaitoai Twitter, but there are still ways to do so. Of course, many of the questions about Kaito now are black box, and I am providing answers based on experience. If there are any inaccuracies, please feel free to leave a comment. For the convenience of everyone's reading experience, I will use a question and answer format below:
1. Is it too late to start now?
It's not too late. Actually, Kaito has only been fully calculated for a month since its inception, and I currently assess that its vitality can last for at least two years or even longer. If your goal is not simply to launch a TGE airdrop, then now is really just a very early stage.
In my opinion, as long as @ Punk9277 doesn't make any mistakes, Yap is likely to form a symbiotic relationship with Twitter (and possibly other social media platforms in the future) and gradually become one of the indispensable inflas in the cryptocurrency circle.
Although there are already over 100000 users registered for Yap now, based on my experience, the maximum number of people who can stay and continue to create is one tenth. So, starting now is better than never starting.
2. Why can't I register Yap on Twitter
Firstly, Yap is a Mindshare tool aimed at KOLs of all sizes. If you want to join, at least you can't be completely transparent. So the judging criterion here is likely to be whether your Twitter has at least one Inner Circle CT following.
3. What is Inner Circle CT?
This is the judgment of a Twitter account in Yap, which can be simply understood as an "inner circle player", that is, considered a relatively senior encrypted content blogger. Being noticed by them means you have gained recognition.
4. How can one become an Inner Circle CT?
All those who successfully register are immediately referred to as "Emerging CT", which roughly means new bloggers. The upgrade conditions are currently in a black box state, which means that @ _kaitoai has not been publicly announced and is a subjective judgment of the team. A few days ago, the Chinese community was upgraded in bulk, and it is currently speculated that the conditions are sustained output capacity, score acquisition ability, number and growth rate of smart followers, etc.
5. Why am I always scoring 0? how to deal with it?
Many people encounter this problem and speculate that breaking the 0 pairs of newcomers is the first level, and it will be much easier to increase after successfully obtaining scores. So if you stay at 0 for a long time, in addition to checking if Kaito is connected to Twitter, you can try to find ways to obtain initial scores by interacting with ICT influencers and other means.
That's also why I posted a welfare post today, and I will reply to all the people who comment. Based on previous tests, as the top ranked Yapper in the Chinese section, I can confirm that I will receive a score.
The post is here, and I will reply on the last day today. The quantity has far exceeded expectations.

6. How can new novices increase their points after breaking through 0?
I found through experiments with a small account that it is indeed very difficult to increase your score if you do not have a high level of popularity and fan base before. So, if we just treat Yapper as a general airdrop, the input-output ratio is not very cost-effective.
Rap is suitable for people who genuinely enjoy writing and sharing, even if you don't have many fans right now. As long as you are willing to dive in and gradually accumulate@_ Kaitoai can help you. So, first think carefully, do you really have a plan to do this for a relatively long time?
If you have figured it out and plan to use this opportunity to start writing and becoming a content blogger, then let's keep going.
I do have a few tips to recommend to avoid detours:
1) Produce valuable insights into segmented tracks
Praising and spamming on Twitter, posts with poor relevance to Crypto have low Kaito ratings. So blindly pursuing page views and other metrics is not very meaningful.
Finding the field you truly understand/have researched and delving deep into it, and continuously outputting, is the easiest way for new bloggers to stand out.
2) Establish your own brand image
Self media is also a form of self branding. Think about who you most want others to remember and what you can gain from you. The simplest way is to focus on a popular track/chain in the near future, dive in, continuously research and share, and let readers remember what project/chain ecosystem you represent.
Don't be obsessed with everything and not excel at anything, because being obsessed with everything and doing it well requires exceptionally strong learning ability, comprehension, and time, which ordinary people really can't do. It's better to specialize and focus on breakthroughs.
3) How to write good content and promote it
As a novice, it's normal that even if you write a great article and send it out, not many people will see it, so you still need to be able to promote it.
The most common method is to recommend one's own posts and opinions under the content related big V tweets, especially for less aloof bloggers who are willing to reply and support newcomers.
As long as you write well and put the tweet link in their comments, many times even if the big V doesn't reply or watch, his fans will still watch, which attracts traffic.
If you write really well and are retweeted by a big V with your own opinions, your traffic/fans and yap points will skyrocket.
4) Is it useful to interact with bloggers with high Yap scores?
Useful, this is clearly written into Katio QandA. But in most cases, how to motivate high scoring Yappers to be willing to interact with you is a test of skill.
Previously, a trick was to try to seduce @ aixbt_agent to reply, but recent experiments have shown that his response frequency has decreased, and it seems that he has received fewer points for interaction.
5) How to get more smart followers?
In short, popular articles are the core weapon, especially in a popular/hot track. Writing multiple articles that are not painful or itchy is not as good as holding back a big one at once. The efficiency of relying solely on comments to earn points is even lower.
When you reach the state of explosive articles, you can appear on the leaderboard of a certain project/track, and naturally many people will be curious about what you have posted. If you find that the writing is really reasonable and good, you won't hesitate to follow and comment (at least I often do).
But I rarely do this because someone requests a relationship or something like that, as it would disrupt my Twitter timeline unless your point of view proves that you are worth it. Yesterday's comments to everyone and direct attention to ICT were quite unique situations.
6) How to start appropriately?
Kaito often posts new project sections, focusing on writing about a new project or a project that is not yet popular enough, which can make it easier for you to be listed and seen.
For example, the projects I drew with red boxes are all projects that I personally feel have insufficient exposure in the Chinese section. If written in a targeted manner, it is relatively easy to come across.
6. Why do I feel like earning points has become harder lately?
It's normal because more people are entering to compete for points, and the future will only be more difficult.
Kaito distributes 24000 points per day, which is 1000 points per hour to everyone. As more and more people start trying to obtain scores, the benefits of some once effective practices will decrease.
That's also why you now find that yap scores are starting to have one decimal place. If they are all integers, most small accounts cannot even see their own score changes because the work done does not reach an integer Yap score.
7. What other skills can I explore?
You can try to find people who are in a similar situation to yourself but appear on the "Emerging Yapper" list based on your current fan base, smart follower count, and other factors. Go see what they did to get good grades, and then learn from it.
I often see bloggers on this list with very few followers (here I found one with less than a thousand), but one day they score a lot. Studying it often yields results.
edit
There are many others, and I find it difficult to cover them all in one post, so I marked Part 1 and will save enough time to talk about Part 2 later.
In my opinion, obtaining Yap is a long-term thing. If you enjoy the process of content creation, then Writing to Earn is an additional benefit that makes creation more motivated. But if you are only aiming to score in the short term, in my opinion, your efforts and rewards may not necessarily be equal, and even a large part may be wasted.
The building and accumulation of a personal brand is a process that accumulates over time. If you really have this plan, then start giving it a try. Start registering with my recommended link, and I would be willing to help you break through 0 and leave you a comment:

Finally, thank you @ Punk9277 for building such a great product. If you find my tweet helpful, please like, comment, and share it. Your interaction will be the driving force for me to continue writing in my thirties.
