According to BlockBeats, on January 26th, pump.fun set a new record for daily fee revenue on January 24th, reaching $15.5 million. Since its launch in the Solana ecosystem on January 19, 2024, the platform has achieved $100 million in revenue in just 217 days, becoming the fastest-growing application in the history of cryptocurrency.
In the past two weeks, the platform's trading volume has exceeded 4 billion US dollars and accumulated over 2.5 million SOL transaction fees. The new round of growth on the platform is mainly driven by Vine Coin launched by Rus Yusupov, co-founder of Vine, which once exceeded a market value of $425 million.
Despite Pump.fun promoting compliance project issuance through innovative mechanisms, there are still US law firms suing the platform on behalf of damaged investors. Previously, the New York State Department of Financial Services classified such tokens as "emotion based virtual currencies".
