Your focus should be on what is hot THIS cycle & NOT prior cycles. This is no longer a market where sitting on your hands for years is the most profitable model. There are ALWAYS exceptions to this rule ofc. Ex.) Purchasing AGIX in the lows of last cycle you'd be heavily net positive this cycle & would have outpaced BTC. However, the majority rule applies here bc very few can actually see into the future that far to identify what the driving narrative will be in 4-5 years from now... Pair that with an ever growing market & just bc you have a token last cycle that SHOULD be relevant doesn't mean it will do well. This could be from dilution or perhaps a new token came out doing something similar if not the exact same thing. Be like water. Adapt.
