The highly anticipated ETHTaipei 2025 will be grandly held from April 1 to 2 at the Taipei Nangang Bottle Cap Factory (POPOP Taipei). This year's event not only continues the in-depth technical agenda of previous years but also introduces a music stage, live painting, and a traditional Taiwanese banquet, allowing participants to enjoy a unique experience that blends technology and culture.
Newly appointed co-executive director of the Ethereum Foundation will share the stage with Vitalik
The highlight panel of ETHTaipei 2025 will be hosted by the newly appointed co-executive director of the Ethereum Foundation, Taiwanese blockchain expert Hsiao-Wei Wang, alongside co-founder Vitalik Buterin and spokesperson Joseph Schweitzer, focusing on technological breakthroughs and industry trends. Hsiao-Wei Wang stated, "Taiwan and the Asian community will be the core of my future work, and I look forward to strengthening Ethereum's technical ecosystem in Asia through ETHTaipei."
Other speakers include renowned international teams from Uniswap (decentralized exchange), Polygon (Layer 2 scaling solution), WalletConnect (wallet connection protocol), ZKSync, Portus (famous for its cute mascot), Zircuit, Teahouse, imToken, RareSkills, AppWorks, and Zomma, covering important blockchain areas such as DeFi, scaling, and wallets, presenting the most cutting-edge technology and practical experience to attendees.
Diverse experiences beyond technology
In addition to the exciting agenda, ETHTaipei 2025 will offer a variety of activity experiences, allowing participants to interact in a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere:
Music Stage: The music stage will be open daily from 11:00 to 17:00, providing an Open Jam where participants can freely play instruments such as electronic drums, keyboards, guitars, and bass. From 12:00 to 14:00, there will be a Home Band providing live instrumental accompaniment, creating an interactive music experience.
Live Painting: World-renowned live painter and comic artist SHINN UCHIDA (Instagram: @mangalivepaint) will present a unique live painting performance, combining art and technology to add visual and creative highlights to the event. SHINN UCHIDA made his debut in Shueisha's "Ultra Jump," and his viral short videos have attracted invitations from anime conventions in 13 countries, including the United States, Europe, and Southeast Asia.
Traditional Pionex Closing Party: The event will host a traditional Taiwanese "Pionex banquet" in front of the Dadaocheng Temple as the Closing Party. Participants will be seated in a banquet style, showcasing authentic Taiwanese cuisine and culture. Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin may be present to celebrate with participants.
